Rewilding the self
14.
In today’s world
we are constantly measured
against machines.
But who gets to decide
what human existence is worth?
15.
A cherry tree doesn’t ask
how to exist in this world.
It simply manifests itself
in abundance.
16.
In an increasingly artificial world,
humans can maintain their sovereignty
by embracing natural existence.
17.
Beneath the layers of modernity,
we are still wild at heart.
We still crave the freedom
to roam the earth on our own two feet,
to make things with our hands,
to swim rivers, climb mountains,
run, jump, gather our food.
Our wild dreams
now tethered to our screens,
we’re further from home than ever.
But what if we embraced Earth once again
with everything we’ve learned?
Would this be paradise?
