Embodied existence

8.

To be merely born
is not enough.

We are constantly asked
to justify our existence
through optimization,
efficiency, and productivity.

But nature doesn’t ask
about the meaning of existence.
To exist is to have meaning.

9.

Our moral compass is guided
by our framework of reference.

But frameworks change.
What makes us human doesn’t.

10.

You cannot purchase
a meaningful existence.

You cannot manufacture
a meaningful existence.

You can only live
a meaningful existence.

11.

Embodied existence
is a manifestation of life
in this universe—
it is unique, irreversible,
and unrepeatable.

You get only one chance
to be you.

12.

We think,
therefore we are.

We think,
therefore our reality exists.

13.

There is nothing new
under the sun.

Everything
has been done before.

But not by you
in your life
that you live right now
for the first
and perhaps the last time.

Read more about the future of life on Earth in my climate fiction novel.

There is no nature, there’s only this planet on which we all live.
